After he was called to the Bar in 1995, he had joined Messrs. Manjit Singh Sachdev, Mohammad Radzi & Partners as a junior partner. He was responsible for the opening up of the firm’s Subang Jaya Branch. In 1996 he started his own firm, Messrs. Ghee Meng & Co. In 2001, Messrs. Ghee Meng & Co merged with Ravi & Co. to form Messrs. Nekoo Parames & Tung.
Due to his training in finance and accountancy, his early legal services had leaned heavily on providing corporate advisory services to local as well as overseas clients. He had acted and continues to act for many international companies.
Ronald has been intimately involved with business development of South African companies in Malaysia. He is one of the co-founders of Malaysian South African Business Council formed in 1996. He is also the resident director of the local subsidiary of Murray & Roberts Limited, a South African conglomerate listed in the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.
Also, being conversant both in spoken and written Mandarin, Ronald has been advising companies, both local and overseas on investment opportunities in the People’s Republic of China.
Ronald joined this firm as a partner in July, 2010.
